How to use a walking stick?


A Flexyfoot Walking Stick can help a person if they are recovering from an injury, not confident when walking unaided or suffering from a mobility-related condition.
 
A walking stick should always be held in the hand on the opposite side of the affected leg. Move the walking stick and step forward with your bad leg – it is important to move the stick and the affected leg forward together. Then move the stronger leg through.
 
Your walking stick should have moved approximately the distance of an average step.
